Connection is in our nature, and couples are connected in a way that awakens our deepest dreams and fears. In relationship we have the greatest potential for healing, growth, and satisfaction of our needs. Helping couples be happier and work together is fascinating, meaningful, and heartfelt for me.
Life is so much better when we share and enjoy it with someone. We are all in relationships, looking for relationships, ending relationships. or revising our relationships. Healthy relationships support our individual well-being. To learn and grow with others gives us the opportunity to resolve our fundamental questions around separateness, connection and intimacy. The reality of caring and sharing is a foundation to happiness and thriving.
Aside from attending to the needs of our partners, we must attune to our own needs and express them in a way that will be received and understood. With patience and communication we come to understand ourselves and come together.

CLINICAL APPROACH
My approach is based on the needs, style and goals of the individual, couple, or family. For couples I take a pragmatic approach to common relationship problems, managing differences and changing behaviors that may be unconscious or habitual. From there we can build a framework based on strengths, cultivate mutual meaning, develop secure attachment, and nurture relationships that make our dreams come true.
